A hotel located in the centre of the town, one street up the coach bus stop, which is very convenient with you're traveling on your own. The room was good size and the bathroom was very well equipped. The toiletries are super worth trying: I loved the shampoo (amber and something else scent that I can't recall). There's a hairdryer and iron in the room, so no need to ask for those in the lobby - super handy. The bed is super duper comfy. The alarm clock on the bed is quite nice, it wakes you up with light intensity, which is quite nice: you slowly wake up without getting grumpy. There is a laundry in some of the corridors: 4NZ dollars to wash and 4 NZ dollars to dry, 1 NZ dollar soap can be purchased in the lobby. There is a work desk on the room, which I used a couple of times. There's kettle and a fridge so I managed to have breakfast in the room since I bought some bread and cheese in the market nearby.

You are right in the centre of Christchurch with easy access to everything from sites to the central bus terminal allowing the opportunity to explore the wider area. The bar/restaurant serves delicious food and runs happy hour so you don't have to break the bank to be well fed and watered The room is very compact but well designed and has everything you need. The laundry was equipped with new machines that did a great job in no time. Coins are needed Buses to / from the airport are around the corner and as direct as any other mode of transport (#29)

Second booking at this site due to a cancelled flight. Booked another double. Staff were amazing and flexible as a suitable room had already been cleaned they allowed early checkin due to the unusual weather circumstances. Was a much smaller room and not as spacious and up to date as my previous room but was grateful given the circumstances. A couple would struggle unless you were used to small space. Still had all amenities and bed was lovely and comfortable, clean and warm. Given there was no window in this room the air con was easy to adjust.

Location was so convenient for the Bus Interchange and the city centre shops. The room wasn't what I was expecting. It reminded me of a hotel I stayed in Tokyo; small but perfectly formed. The bed is slightly raised and your suitcase slides underneath. But it has a toilet, shower, TV, fridge, iron, ironing board (under the bed), small table, chair and coloured mood lights. It had everything I needed even if it was a little bit pricey in square-foot terms.

Great value for money as a solo traveller who didn't want to use hostels. Better value than a private room in hostel, more amenities and cosier. Facilities provided were great, ran great hours and restaurant area was very flexible. Good location from bus interchange and centre of town. For an expensive city this was great short stay location. TIP: Would very very cosy for a couple so make sure you like each other :)
